Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Maxwell was living with a man who was a horder and the poor little guy was attacked by a pitbull. He was never medically treated so the wounds healed by themselves leaving some scarring. He has never walked on a leash and was kept in a bathroom with a pee pad so he has no potty training but is learning to use the doggy door at his foster home. Just 4 months old and weighing 9lbs, this little guy is young enough to lose all his past fear and become a wonderful, loving dog. Max is a climber, he can easily climb over a doggie gate and he is very strong. He loves to cuddle and be with his person, something he was never able to do before. He needs to learn to be a little less dependent on people and he is learning to be a dog from the other dogs in his foster home. Max is a very energetic rat terrier and he loves to play with other dogs so he would do best in a home with another friend where he can play and learn. He is terrified of big dogs because of his attack so another small playful pup would be a wonderful companion. Maxwell has had a very rough start in life- can you show him love and patience and help him become the great dog we know he can be?
