KELSI (R)'s Story...
CUTE PUPPY ALERT! Meet the adorable, the charming, the sweet...Kesli! This girl just takes the cake with those oversized ears! She came to the shelter as a lost stray on 5/6/14 and is hoping to find the most perfect family to join. She is just 5 months old and weighs 16 lbs. It appears she was someones baby at some point because she has this beautiful blue harness on and it's apparent she's started her obedience training as she will sit on command and walks well on a leash. Kelsi is current on her vaccines and has been spayed. She will be micro chipped upon adoption and is literally ready to walk out those shelter doors with you today! So hurry on over to the shelter, take your baby home and start your summer of puppy love!

When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, the names are oftentimes made up by volunteers. Why Adoption is a Great Option

KELSI (R), a Marietta Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
