My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey friends, my name is Entei and I’m a brindle corgi mix. I was rescued from a high kill shelter in Memphis, TN where they had me on “the list.” I wasn’t sure what that meant, but my new friends tell me it wasn’t good.

My new friends tell me I am a very unique low-rider dude. They’re right. I am very affectionate and love to have my belly rubbed. I have a lot of energy, so I want to go to a home where I can play play play and have the chance to romp around.

I’ve been told I’m really smart too. I already knew how to sit before I even left the shelter! I’m working on house training and crate training – as I wasn’t given the best start at life, so I have some catching up to do.

You may wonder why I have such a unique name – well, let me tell you. I was named after Entei, the legendary, firey beast Pokemon! Go ahead and laugh, but it’s said that every time an Entei roars a volcano erupts. Now that is pretty cool!
