Maximus's Story...
Hi, I'm Maximus! I'm a 16 week old (born Feb. 9th) male hound/lab/mixed breed puppy. I get along with all people and animals and I am looking for a forever family. I am a very sweet boy and I will likely grow to be a pretty big guy. Photos do NOT do me justice.

Before you consider adopting me, please know that I am a PUPPY. Puppies require lots of additional attention in order to grow up into well-behaved big doggies. I will require time, patience, training, discipline, activity, toys, continued socialization with people and dogs, and more! I may mess up sometimes as I learn but with guidance I will grow to be a good boy. I'm well on my way already. Please only consider adopting me if you are FULLY prepared for all that a puppy requires.

I am neutered, up to date on vaccines, de-flead, and de-wormed. I have an adoption donation of $150.

If you are still interested, I am located in Groveland, FL. The rescue is available for adoptions all the time by appointment so please give them a call at 352-429-4077 or 407-947-9876.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maximus, a Groveland Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Groveland, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Groveland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Groveland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Groveland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Groveland paves the way for another one to be saved.
