My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Update 05/29/14: Cujo is doing very well. He has lost 1.5 lbs and is well on his way to becoming a healthy dog who is full of energy! Cujo will always be positive for Lymes Disease and will likely need medication to be pain free. He is a HUGE snuggler and wants only to be with his person. Cujo is about as sweet as they come! Initial Bio 03/16/14: Hi Everybody, I'm Cujo! My Foster mom says I'm more like a Joey than a Cujo though!! I came from a very loving home where my mom took good care of me. After my dad died and mom got really bad allergies, they contacted United Yorkie Rescue to help find me a good home because my Mom was having trouble breathing. She was really sad to see me go and I was sad too. Well, Mom's got more to say so here she is...... This is FM, Cujo is a very sweet boy who was not getting much attention in his old home because of some sad circumstances. He is very sweet and craves LOTS of attention. He is a hefty 6.8 pounds but should be closer to 4.0 so we are working hard to get him down to a healthy weight. Cujo's medical past includes having trouble walking. We found out that he is positive for Lyme's disease which could be causing this in addition to the extra weight he has. Cujo has an infection in his mouth and is in desperate need of a dental where he will likely lose 6-8 teeth.

Cujo is a very sweet dog who would do best with a forever home where someone is home most of the day. He does not make much noise at all and does his business outside right away. Please no children under the age of 12 due to his size. Stay tuned as we get to know Cujo more!
