Cindy's Story...
This pretty little girl is approx 1-2 years old, current on vaccines, micro chipped, spayed and has even had her rear dewclaws removed. She is still very young at heart and loves to play with other dogs and her people friends. She is spunky and active and would like a family who will interact with her during play, but also settle down to snuggle. She loves to be held, but is also very confident and happy on her own feet.

She is working on perfecting her potty habits and is crate trained while she masters the techniques. We suspect she was a backyard dog in his previous home, before being turned in to the pound for running stray with her buddy. After 10 days at the pound, she was rescued and brought into foster care where she has flourished and made great strides at becoming a proper house dog. She is very food motivated and learns quickly as a result. She is eager to learn new tricks and bond with a family to call her own.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cindy, a Scottsdale Chihuahua/Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Pug for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a Chihuahua/Pug dog from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Pug breeders who help with Chihuahua/Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
