Sadie as an adorable girl who was rescued from a terrible home by one of our volunteers. Sadie is 1 year old and weighs just 12lbs. Here is what she has to say about Sadie: This dog is extremely sweet. She approached us covered in thorns and fleas. As soon as we got her home and gave her a bath, she started warming up to us and the other dogs. She is a little hand shy if you come at her quickly, but never aggressive. She is very friendly and affectionate. She likes to play with toys and other dogs. She has also been around a young baby and was very calm and gentle. She just wants to be around people. She likes to jump up on chairs and couches to be next to people, but is also very obedient when told to not get up on the furniture. If she can't be right next to a person, she will lie on the floor right next to where the person is sitting. For being such a young dog, she is very well behaved and gentle - never bites or growls at people. She is eager to please and listen to people. She likes to go out for walks, but when she is home, as said before, just wants to be around people, nap, or play with toys. One thing she doesn't like is cats. Can you open your heart and home and give this little one the life she deserves?
