JUNE's Story...
This beautiful light eyed girl arrived on May 31st weighing in at just over 7 pounds. She is adorable! June is estimated to be 10 weeks of age. June is a sweet, sweet addition to our home. She is fostered with our 1 1/2 year old dog and our 3 year old cat; everyone gets along beautifully. The dogs play and the cat looks and leaves… typical. June took her bath last night like a champ, gobbled her dinner up looking for more, and thus far has done all her pooping and peeing outside. We are in love with this precious little gift! She appears to be very independent, while at the same time loves to cuddle and walk around in the crux of your arm. June learns very quickly and even comes when she is called! We all like our rest and you will get it with this adorable pup! After a couple minute protest, June settled down to sleep in her crate and slept till early morning. I took her out, she did her business and after another short little protest she was back to sleep! This little girl will make you smile all day long! All I can say is the forever home that June goes to will be one very happy and lucky family!!!

UPDATE: June loves to be outside romping around in the grass or taking a walk, it doesn’t matter … she loves it all! She is a very loyal pup. She follows you with the sense of an older dog and comes when called. She has met lots of friends and neighbors and is completely relaxed with everyone and everything new. I think you would say June is a go with the flow kind of girl…very easy and very easy going. She continues to be incredible about doing her business outside … only one accident in the house. I’m sure we are just getting lucky, after all, she is only 9 weeks old! She must be an old soul! Little June has fallen asleep on my lap … nothing could be better!

UPDATE: As I said before, June is very smart. As a matter a fact, she went to college yesterday and was the star on campus! She walked right with me as I gave her a tour of campus. She walks so proudly alongside of you and never strays. Needless to say …. it was hard to get work done with all the people stopping by my office to get a wag of the tail from our sweet little June! She took the new environment and the many new people in stride. Again … she did all her business outside! I really can’t say enough about June … wish I could keep her! Since I can’t … there is going to be one very lucky adoptive family out there. I have fostered many dogs and June is top of the heap. She is so gentle, loving, happy, well behaved, and I could go on and on. By the way … she doesn’t make a peep when you put her down in her crate for the night and is sleeping all the way through to 6 a.m. … my alarm rang before she woke this morning! Way to go June!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

JUNE, a West Milford Labrador Retriever/Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie for sale in West Milford, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie puppy from a breeder in West Milford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Milford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Milford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Border Collie breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Milford paves the way for another one to be saved.
