Shaggi's Story...
Well hey there! Shaggi here! I have lived a rather sad life. My owners threw me over a fence and abandoned me - covered in dreads - into a kind woman's yard. I really am confused and want to protect my human. I am a bit shy of strangers, as you can imagine all that I have been through. Due to this, I probably am not little baby kid friendly. I might change overtime, but I'm a bit nervous right now, ya know? I also really am new to this whole grooming thing. My new parents will need to continue taking me so I get comfy with eye trims. I also like dogs, but mostly I'm a ladies man. If you are unneutered, we might not be friends. Other dudes seem fine though! My foster mom says I am wayyy handsome though, so really just looking for a place I can live the rest of my long life in. Will it be with you???

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shaggi, a Phoenix Havanese/Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Havanese/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Havanese/Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Havanese/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Havanese/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
