My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chanel came to BBAR after we received a call from a local shelter. The shelter was going to euthanize her because her leg was broken so they asked us to take her. When she got to the vet we realized that there was much more extensive injuries. Her leg was broken but required surgery to insert a pin into it and her pelvis was also broken. Those injuries coupled with a hernia made her prognosis touchy. Our wonderful vet stayed late to operate on her and was able to not only save her leg but her life also! Chanel is doing wonderfully in her recovery and she has shown us what a great dog she is! She loves other dogs, cats and kids and is quite the snugglebug! Chanel is only about a year old and is doing great on housebreaking. She is crate trained but I'm sure she wouldn't protest too much if you wanted her to sleep in your bed! All of our dogs are in foster care in West TN but we use a wonderful transport company that brings them to your area once the adoption is finalized.
