As far as CRSD can tell Jessie was hit by a car at least a year ago and no medical help was given. Her pelvis and hip bones healed together incorrectly leaving her leg useless and other injuries to her neck. CRSD made the decision to remove the leg and this little 3 lb 6 oz girl, est to be 5 to 6 years old is still a bit cautious when you touch her around her neck but warms up and trusts again with love and tenderness. She is getting along well with her three legs but because of the length of time she basically had to learn to walk using new muscles again. If you have patience, love and want a friend for life give this little girl a chance. You won't be disappointed.
