Lovely lassie Tammi is named for the "tam o' shanter" marking on her head. Tammie and her sister Annamae, (also known as Annie) were born on November 1, 2013. They came to FFGW at 6 months with 3 littermates and 4 younger kittens from their mom's last litter. The transition from the only home they knew to a foster home was especially hard on the girls. In time, Annie and Tammi recovered their purrs and adjusted to their first foster family (and their two Goldendoodles). While shyer with people, Tammi loves to play, with her sister or on her own. In a second foster home for the past year, the girls continue to be very tightly bonded with each other and comfortable with their foster mom--Annie even sleeps in the bed with the entire family (foster mom, two resident cats and an elderly long term foster). Annie is always on the couch with mom, where Tammi happily joins them, as long as Annnie is there first. And Tammi still amuses herself with her vast collection of toys. The girls may never blossom into lap cats, but if given the chance to adjust slowly, they will bring great joy and companionship to someone very lucky! Perhaps they ahven’t been adopted yet because they have been waiting for YOU!
