Chelsea came from a hoarding situation, and we’re not sure she ever had a real home life. But she is one of the sweetest, most affectionate cats you’ll ever meet. It’s like she is making up for lost time. She craves affection, and loves to sit in your lap, or just next to you. She really prefers being with her person much more than being alone; all she wants is a lap and your attention. She sometimes has trouble sitting still, because she’s so busy rubbing against you. If you’re looking for a cat who sits in the corner by herself, Chelsea is not for you! She is the perfect cat for someone who wants to spend a lot of time loving and getting affection from their cat!

About Good Mews Animal Foundation

About Our Shelter...

Good Mews offers an alternative to traditional animal shelters in the Metro Atlanta area by providing a no-kill, cage-free haven for homeless, abused, or abandoned cats until placing them in permanent, loving homes. Good Mews promotes public awareness regarding the value of pets, animal welfare, pet overpopulation, and quality human-animal companionship through education and outreach programs.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Good Mews is open every Saturday from 10 - 4, the first and third Sunday of the month from 1 - 4. In addition, we participate in many offsite adoption activities throughout the month. Check the Calendar of Events on our website for details!

Our Adoption Process...

Adoption information can be located on our website (www.goodmews.org). Adoption applications can also be downloaded from that site. We participate in the ASPCA Meet Your Match Felinality program.
