My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

6/8/08 Starsky has found his forever home in New England. We are delighted for him!

5/5/08 Starsky is at my house for foster care and what a love bug! He is really grea with my 2 small children- nothing but gentle and licks. He loves to run and play with the other dogs and is a medium energy dog. He is thinks he can fit in your lap for tv time and is very smart. He has learned sit and shake very quickly. He doesn't bark unless the other dogs do and he'd rather not be with cats as they get him very excited. He is such a gooda boy and would make a great family dog. Can you give him that special forever home? 4/24/08 The boys have been separated because Starsky was just a little too bossy with his brother. They are in separate foster homes and Starsky is doing terrific but really wants his forever home to be his next stop. He is very affectionate with people and did very well with small dogs and a female puggle at his last foster home. He needs a strong leader to show him the house rules and continue with his training. He's housetrained and a lovable sweetheart! He's not as big as he looks - a very manageable size and a sweet disposition. He is best suited to a home without cats.

4/14/08 Starsky and Hutch are wonderful, young Lab mixes recently rescued from a kill shelter in Arkansas. These boys are terrific family dogs. They are currently in a foster home together in Malden, MA where they live peacefully with two small breed dogs, cats, a four year old girl and a stay-at-home mom.
Sadly, we just discovered the little girl in Starsky's foster home is terribly allergic to both dogs. As a result, both Starsky and Hutch are in urgent need of a foster or forever home.

Starsky and Hutch are nice medium-sized dogs weighing 45-50 lbs. They are crate trained (in fact they currently share a giant crate) and walk well on leash. They are coming along nicely with their house manners and are learning not to counter- surf!
These two boys are longing for a forever home to call their own. They are neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations. If you have room in your heart and in your home for Starsky, please contact us.

Starsky and his brother Hutch are in a wonderful foster home in New England and are doing well.

3/08 Meet Starsky - what a doll! He and his brother, Hutch are so sweet and gentle. They appear to be around a year old. Apparently, these guys were strays initially and were taken in by a business man and kept at his place of business. The business beside them complained, so they were forced to give these sweeties up. If you want a great pair of dogs, these are the ones for you. We are not sure exactly what they are mixed with- they appear Labby in the face, but have Shepherd-type ears and coloring in the back. No matter what, you can't say they aren't adorable! Please consider fostering or adopting these handsome guys together or individually.
