Scooter's Story...
DOB April 2, 2014

Scooter has personality! He is from a litter of 5 kittens, whose mother you might also consider adopting, Cloe. Scooter was the first kitten to learn to climb the gate of the room where they were kept safely for the first few weeks of their life. He is spunky and affectionate and enjoys running and playing with both his mother and his siblings. He is also the one found most often cuddling and nursing! It would be really amazing if Scooter could be adopted with his mother. They are 2 of the loveliest cats we have had the pleasure to foster!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scooter, a Toronto Domestic Longhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Toronto, or seeking a Domestic Longhair kitten from a breeder in Toronto.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toronto already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toronto breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toronto paves the way for another one to be saved.
