My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lap warmer alert! Meet Snoopy! Snoopy is a young male Chihuahua who weighs about 10 lbs. He is such a lover and a cuddlier to his foster mom. Snoopy has not barked since he got to his new foster home, unbelievable! He is nervous around his foster dad and just keeps his distance from him quietly. He will take a little time to warm up to men and possibly new people. He was in love with his foster mom from the first minute she picked him up! He is pretty well house trained but does need some reinforcing. Snoopy loves to lay on the couch or on a dog bed, but especially on top of his foster mom under a blanket. He is a very happy little fella who scoots around the house wagging his tail. He enjoys being near the resident dog who really couldn't care less about him. Snoopy is very respectful towards him and would do great in a house with other dogs. We are unsure how he is around cats but we do not anticipate any issues. Sometimes when he is focusing on something only one of his ears perks up which might just be the cutest thing ever. When he rides in the car he enjoys laying in the back window! He sleeps in his crate all night without making a sound, he would probably love to sleep in bed with you though! Snoopy may be nervous around small children but older kids who understand that he will need time to warm up to them should be fine. Snoopy will make a great addition to a family who is willing to bring him out of his shell and teach him that he doesn't have to hide from strangers.

Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
