My name is Mynka, and I am a very happy and joyful 5 year old, 70lb female Bull Terrier/Pit Bull mix. I am a clown, and my goofy ears and spotted belly are always the first things people fall in love with. I am great on leash, well-mannered in the home and love kids; I also “tap dance” when I get really excited (a signature move!). Currently, I have been living in a foster home with a male pit bull since September 2014, and I am good also good with other non-dominant, friendly dogs. I hope you will come meet me and see how much of a low-maintenance and wonderful family dog I am!

I am housetrained, crate trained, and respectful of any and all boundaries you give me- I really just want to finally have a family to call my own, and whatever I need to do to make you happy, I will make sure I give it to you!

To schedule a meeting to come meet me, please email Hollywooftotherescue@gmail.com or call 323-929-7311- thank you!

I am also available to be fostered for a while to see if I'm a good fit for your home. Please email Rachel at Hollywooftotherescue@gmail.com, or call her at #323-929-7311 if you'd like to come say hello to me!

About Angel City Pit Bulls

About Our Rescue Group...

Mission: Angel City Pit Bulls is creating a better future for pit bulls by promoting their positive image as loving family companions through education, public advocacy, adoptions and responsible pet ownership.

Goal: To reduce the number of pit bull terrier type dogs in animal shelters by increasing adoptions, providing community education to increase owner retention, and participating in targeted spay/neuter programs. As a member of the NKLA Coalition, it is our goal to be an integral part of making Los Angeles no-kill.

History: Angel City Pit Bulls is a 501c3 non-profit organization founded in 2010 to address the problem of overpopulation and high euthanasia rate of pit bull terrier type dogs in Los Angeles area shelters. ACPB continues to evolve through the efforts of dedicated pit bull owners, educators, rescuers, and supporters working together to respond to the challenges facing pit bulls in our community.

Our Adoption Process...

Angel City Pit Bulls has dogs that fall under the generic term 'pit bull' who demonstrate stable, fun, people-oriented, outgoing personalities- making them fantastic family dogs. We have a wide range of energy levels, so whether you are looking for a running partner or a potential “therapy dog”, we will typically have a dog that will fit the bill.

Our goal is to provide adopters with the best possible adopter-dog match and we will work with you to find a dog that is right for your situation. Most of the ACPB dogs live in multi-dog foster homes, and enjoy the company of other well-matched dogs and some even with well-matched cats. We are happy to assist with family pet introductions.

To get started, we will ask that you to fill out a brief questionnaire and we'll set up a meet and greet for the dog(s) you are interested in. When you are ready to move forward with the adoption, we will arrange a home delivery to help you get settled in with the newest member of your family.

Resources, support, and education are always available, and you can expect an extensive level of knowledge and support from ACPB for the lifetime of your dog.

We ask for an adoption donation of $200 for dogs over 6 months old, and $300 for a puppy under 6 months old. This non-taxdeductible contribution assists us in continuing our mission to help more dogs in need.
