Here's what the humans have to say about me:
. A sweet stray former momma cat, Katie was very nervous when she first came to the shelter. She was having trouble adjusting to so many cats and the new living space but socializers were working with her daily and she really started coming out of her shell. Then a set back…Katie, who also has asthma caught a skin virus that, while very treatable, is also contagious. Our poor little girl had to go into “solitary” until she healed, which took much longer because of the daily medication that she takes to manage her asthma. Flash forward, upon Katie’s healthy release, we worried that the time without interaction would have brought her right back to being very shy. Not the case! This pretty girl is still the playful kitty she was and has been working her way towards becoming a purrfect lap cat! A little patience, the ability to administer daily medication (super easy, she loves pill pockets!) to keep Katie breathing easy and a laser pointer are all you need to make this lovely lady your very own.
