Tikki is a female Shih Tzu/Maltese mix only 1 year in age. She is tiny and completely adorable, weighing only 8 pounds. Tikki has soft gray and white wavy fur that is non-shedding. She has been professionally groomed and currently has a shorter haircut. Tikki is small in size, but has a huge, wonderful personality. She is truly the life of the party, the center of attention, and loves every minute of it. She prances around in public like she owns the place and makes friends wherever she goes. Tikki is super friendly to everyone; dogs, cats, kids, and anyone she meets. She is a head-turner without a doubt. She is sweetly curious about everything and loves to go places and see new things. Inside the home, Tikki is a delight. She is housebroken, well-mannered, and a cheery ball of puppy love. She likes to play and will hop around with a toy, or maybe try to get a doggie friend to play a gentle game. She is very cute and amusing when playing. During quiet time, Tikki will snuggle in your lap and likes to have her head stroked. She will only stay there for a little while though, and then it is off for more fun and games. Tikki is young, but eager to please and well-behaved. We can't say enough good things about her! Tikki was brought in to a very high-volume/high-kill shelter with a broken leg. We rescued her and she had orthopedic surgery to repair her leg. She has healed exceptionally well in a short period of time and walks on all four legs beautifully. We are happy to give young Tikki a second chance - we think she is well worth it! Tikki is looking for her new forever home today.
Tikki’s adoption donation is $450 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). She has been SPAYED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is her collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of her records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Tikki is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteers, Phyllis and Richard and is ready for her forever home.
