Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dowling is the sweetest poodle. He is approx 18 months old and 18 lbs. He has an issue with his back legs and somewhat with his front in that his back legs are splayed out and he walks very stiffly. We really tried to find the cause - we had the vet take x rays and there were no injuries. Then we took him to a neurologist that did an MRI of his neck and spine and saw nothing unusual. Lastly we had him tested for infectious and inflammatory diseases in case he had a tick borne disease and all of the tests came back negative. So none of the vets know why he walks the way he does. However, it doesn't seem to bother him one bit!!! He runs and plays with his buddies - he just looks funny when he walks. The vet feels it is neurological issue but we may never know what it is. He is just a doll, he loves people, loves to eat, loves treats, has a nice personality, (can get a little testy if the other dogs try to steal his food at meal time and will growl at them). He walks well on the leash and is pretty well house trained, but like most rescues..not perfect.. he is a really nice dog that deserves a good home of his own..
