My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

THIS IS A COURTESY LISTING. ADR is not responsible for the health, temperament, behavior or placement of this dog. Listings are done at the request of the dog's owner and as an outreach and community service in hopes of finding these dogs a loving, stable forever home. Placement decisions are made solely at the discretion of the owner and not Austin Dog Rescue. Owners are required to ask for an adoption fee from adopters.

This is the information we received from Chance's current family:

Rehoming my Staffordshire Terrier mix. As you can see by the pictures, he is always smiling and happy and absolutely lives to please his family. And yes, he always has one ear up and one ear down.

1. 3 years old and approximately 65 pounds of fun (this is a big dog).
2. Housebroken/kennel trained (will go to the kennel when you say the word).
3. Knows basic commands (sit, paw, stay, down, beg)
4. Neutered.
5. Leash trained with a gentle lead.
6. Fully vetted and heartworm negative. Very healthy dog.
7. Plays fetch, soccer, and hide and seek.
8. Loves other dogs but needs proper introduction. A smaller or female companion would be ideal.
9. Is intrigued by cats but isn't sure what they are. I'm recommending only dog savvy cats.
10. Does not dig or chew.
11. LOVES PEANUT BUTTER AND WATER
12. Will come with his food bowl, food, kennel, water dish, etc.
13. He is outside during the day and sleeps inside his kennel (inside the house at night or during the heat of the day).
14. I've trained him not to enter my kitchen (he is very smart).
15. This is an active guy that requires daily walks/exercise.

This dog has done nothing wrong. He is the victim of Federal cutbacks.

I'm happy to meet you somewhere for introductions.

I can be reached at tazismom@yahoo.com or via telephone at 512-695-1073 (my name is Belinda).
