found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and not good with cats.
No one has ever managed to convince Arrow that he's way too big to be a lap dog. Don't have a lap available? He's nearly as happy to curl up beside you on the couch, at your feet--or preferably on your feet! He's just as cuddly and affectionate with children and wants nothing more than to be loved on by them. He clearly adores kids and is wonderful with them. Cuddling is Arrow's number one favorite hobby, and his second favorite is napping. But make no mistake--he's also a fun-loving and playful boy who has plenty of energy for a game of fetch or tug of war, and he enjoys both activities (even tugging politely rather than being too rough). Arrow also loves to swim in a pool but at this time needs a doggy life vest to do so. He'll likely be lots of fun to take to the river.
Past the puppy and teen years, Arrow is a stable and mature 4 year old who knows the rules and is happy to follow them. He already knows his basic commands such as "sit," "down," and "watch me." He is also, of course, housebroken and even crate-trained (although he'd love to sneak onto your bed and sleep there for maximum cuddle time). His foster family is working on his leash skills because Arrow thinks the world is such an interesting and exciting place, he just can't contain his desire to get out and explore it. He'll make an excellent jogging partner with a bit of practice. His foster family reports that he is excitable on leash when he sees other dogs but that he redirects well. We think Arrow would do well in a home with a female dog or as an only dog.
If you're looking for the doggy love of your life, Arrow just might be The One! Contact David or Kirsten at Davidacke@yahoo.com for more information and an application to meet lovable Arrow.
