Sully is a 6 month old Border Collie Mix. He was surrendered to a VERY full shelter as a stray. We were contacted because he had a SEVERE case of demodex. When I met him, I fell in love. I knew our rescue couldn't leave him there.
Sully is now 100% healthy and ready for his forever home. Sully is a sensitive guy. He LOVES his people. He comes immediately when called and with enthusiasm! Sully knows how to sit when asked and knows to sit for his meals prior to being fed.
Sully gets along great with other dogs and cats. He has also been exposed to livestock, chickens, and ducks. He does great with all of them. He is well behaved indoors and sticks around well when outside. He is just content to be healthy and with people.
Sully would do best in an active home where he can get a lot of exercise and attention. We are looking for a family where someone is home most of the day. He had a bit of separation anxiety when he arrived, but has made great progress. We are seeking a family without small children because he tends to be a bit mouthy and rambunctious for youngsters. Sully has had several sessions with a trainer and has learned, sit, down, shake, and is working on stay.
Sullys $250.00 adoption fee covers his neuter, microchip, all vaccinations (including rabies), flea treatment (when necessary), deworming, 1 month heartworm preventative, and 30 days of complimentary insurance.
