Sawyer-adopted!'s Story...
I am about 9 months old and weigh 9 pounds. I might also have a little Jack Russell in me. I am a very sweet boy and love to play. I have a lot of puppy left in me and would love an active home. Playing with other dogs and toys are my favorite things to do. Kids are great as well. I tend to jump up on them to greet them, so a home with a little older kids might be better so I don't knock a kid over on accident. I really like my humans and am very affectionate and really want to please. I am potty trained and know how to use a doggie door. My brother, Scotty and I are very bonded and would like to go to a home together, but would be okay by myself. I will be available for adoption on June 8. You can meet me at Mud Bay in Maple Valley from 11-4 on June 8

Sawyer will be neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, flea treatment and heartworm tested.
Adoption fee-$325

Adoption fee covers medical expenses

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sawyer-adopted!, a Covington Chihuahua/Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in Covington, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Covington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Covington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Covington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Covington paves the way for another one to be saved.
