Luis is an adorable 5 year old, 11 lb Maltipoo mix who is super sweet and affectionate! He had a cherry eye that we just fixed. He came to the shelter with a large wound to right side of neck. When he arrived he was in pain and was very shy but now the wound has healed and he is much more comfortable and is very sweet and lovable. Luis is very confident, good with other dogs, loves sitting on your lap and getting attention. He walks well on a leash and is very treat motivated. He has a lot of potential and will need work. He is doing great with housebreaking but takes him a bit to get the routine down. Right now he needs supervision and is crated at night or when left alone. He has resource guarding over high value items and separation anxiety when no other dog is in the home. He always has a smile on his face! Luis has a great temperament and will make a great addition to a home without kids. He is having issues with strangers coming into his home and we are working with him on this. He needs an experienced owner with patience.
