Apollo is a darling 10 month old black/rust male Doberman pup. Due to his young age a fenced yard is required. Apollo is the sweetest boy ever and is quite gentle for such a young dog. He has beautiful natural ears and a docked tail. Apollo currently weighs 64 lbs but will still fill out some as he matures. He will likely end up to be an average sized male dobe weighing around 75-80 lbs. Apollo came to DAR&E thanks to a nice lady who convinced his breeder to allow DAR&E to find Apollo a great home. Prior to coming to DAR&E Apollo was kept in a pen out back with his siblings so he is very well socialized with other dogs and while a bit shy at first is very social and friendly with people as well. Apollo wasn’t used to things like living in a house, stairs, cars, etc but he is a quick learner. Having a confident doggie friend either in the home or as a frequent buddy would help accelerate Apollo becoming comfortable with new things. Apollo is a really nice boy who just needs to catch up on the finer things in life. Apollo is doing well on his house training. He is fine in a crate and is a very quiet dog. Like any young dog he should be crated when not being supervised. Apollo is very food motivated so that makes training easy. He just needs someone who is willing to continue his training. This sweet boy is well worth the effort!
