Joe's Story...
Joe is a sweet, gentle and loving little guy! An absolute sweetheart. At about 40 lbs, he is the perfect size – not too big and not too small. Joe is housetrained and loves being with his people. He is good with other dogs too. This sweet baby was found in the pouring rain, soaked and walking alone down the road. He body and hair were both thin from malnourishment. Now he is thriving in his foster home. Next up – he needs a family. At 5 years old, Joe is past the puppy phase and in the prime of life! He is gentle on a leash and would make a wonderful companion to an individual or a family. If you are interested in learning more about this sweet boy, email us at info@FORrescue.net – he is neutered, current on Rabies, Bordatella, and Distemper/Parvo vaccines, heartworm negative and microchipped. He is being fostered in north Alabama but transport is available to your area.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Joe, a Norwich Golden Retriever/Spitz (Unknown Type, Large) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Spitz (Unknown Type, Large) for sale in Norwich, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Spitz (Unknown Type, Large) dog from a breeder in Norwich.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norwich already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norwich breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Spitz (Unknown Type, Large) breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Spitz (Unknown Type, Large) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norwich paves the way for another one to be saved.
