Breed: Domestic Medium Hair
Gender: Female
Age: 2 year
This sassy girl is Hailey and she is searching for her loving forever home.
Big fan of: Once she has gotten used to her surroundings, she loves to curl up on a lap or in a bed where she can get be pet.
Special features: She can get easily overwhelmed by the world around her but luckily seeks out comfort from her favorite people. It can take her awhile to adjust to new situations so she needs a home that will take time to help her build her confidence.
Dream Home: Hailey strongly objects to those of her own kind and she finds dogs to be frightening so she will require a home where she can be the only pet. Once she is familiar with people, she is very gentle so she could go to a household with children 10 or older who will be patient with her while she is getting her bearings. Hailey truly is a sweetheart of a cat once she gets to know you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hailey, a Bellingham Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
