found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered and up to date with shots.
Well it is hard to believe but the shelter took in this 20 pound boy as a girl. He was named Bridgette and that was changed to Bridger ( which I knew I had to change) when he was shaved down. He appears all boy now but perhaps he was so pretty with all his fur that he looked more feminine before ????? He sure looks like a gorgeous big boy to me.
Monte is a gentle giant, such a sweet boy.
His paperwork says a "neighbor " dropped him off after his "neighbor" could not take him when he moved. Someone lost a real treasure. He is very good-natured, affectionate and easy going. He loves attention. The shelter workers thought he had not been well taken care of which is why they shaved his matted coat and gave him a "lion cut" Whoever heard of a shaved 20 pound Maine Coon?? ( I love how he looks. ) .He has been a little depressed with us and that is not surprising after losing his home and so forth. He also got a little post shelter cold and laid low for a few days. Monte is well now and enjoying himself. I haven't had him long and am still getting to know him though I will admit it was love at first sight. ( Everyone falls hard for him ) Someone will be so lucky.
I think he is cat friendly. I don't know about dogs though If the dogs are friendly I would expect all to be well. He is probably a good family cat, the delight of gentle loving children. Or he could be the great companion of an adult or adults looking for company.
He eats wet and dry food and is litterbox perfect. More photos soon.
His foster mom is Harriet in Santa Cruz.
