Here's what the humans have to say about me:
MacIntyre: 4-5 yr old male Brown and Black Tabby Scottish Fold
What amazing eyes MacIntyre has. We call these big round eyes "headlight eyes" and you can see why. Mac is a very nice cool guy. He came previously neutered from a shelter and we have no idea how he got there. I expect his owners anonymously dropped him off for some reason. No lone searching for him could fail to find him in a shelter he is so extraordinary looking.
He has amazing ears too. These are the most folded of the three levels of Scottish Fold ears. They are called called "airplane fold" since they resemble airplane wings. It is a genetic change in the cartilage that causes the ear to bend down. This in no way affects the cat's hearing.
So this boy arrived a bit stressed out from all the commotion of the shelter. Nothing unusual or surprising about that. He has been friendly and pleasant from the beginning and his spirits have been rising as he settles into his foster home. He eats well and seems entirely healthy. He will have a dental done before he goes home which is always great.
He is a pretty laid back guy and seems to be friendly with other cats and all humans. He loves attention and petting. MacIntyre will make someone a very interesting and affectionate companion. You just can't look at him without smiling at his appearance.
I will write more about personality as I get to know him better . I have just gotten him in.
He eats wet and dry food and is litterbox perfect . His foster mom is Harriet in Santa Cruz.
