Snow White's Story...
Snow White is a 4 year old Maltese who came to us from a large Southern CA shelter. Her owner surrendered her to the shelter as she dragged her hind legs when she walked. Her family was told that she needed surgery, and they could not afford it. Maltese Rescue CA picked up Snow White from the shelter and took her to Cypress Animal Hospital in Covina, CA. Snow was diagnosed with both hips and knees needing surgery. In early April Snow White had surgery on her hips and knees. Now Snow White walks using all four legs, goes up and down stairs, and enjoys her life. She even swims in her foster family’s pool.

Snow White is a very mellow, affectionate young Maltese. She gets along nicely with other small dogs. If you are looking for a calm, healthy, 6 ½ lb. Maltese, Snow White would be an excellent choice.

Snow White will be at the Petco in Irvine, CA this Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Snow White, a Covina Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in Covina, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in Covina.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Covina already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Covina breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Covina paves the way for another one to be saved.
