Meet Henry, a 5-year-old, Chihuahua who is a 4-lb package of sauciness and pizzazz. Shy at first, Henry quickly leans in for cuddles once he is feeling safe and secure. Chihuahuas are very terrier-like and are not pushovers as Henry quickly exhibits when other dogs come near his food. Henry is okay with other canines but Chis are clannish, recognizing and preferring their own kind. Definitely not a purse dog, Henry has four good legs that he needs to use. We have no history on Henry as he was transferred from another rescue. For this reason and because of his size, an adult family would best suit him. Henry was de-barked at some point in his life. There may perhaps be some toilet training to do but with patience and consistency, Henry will prove to be a fast learner. This cute little guy will make a terrific pet for some lucky Chihuahua lover.
