My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! My name is Mia and I am a 28 year old Orange Wing Amazon and I am currently learning to step up for my Foster Mom. I love chop, nuts, and all kinds of fruit and veggies. I also like to go for ride in the car, and play catch with my foster mom (as long as I get my ball back). I can be quite feisty when I want too be. I live with 3 big dogs - they don’t scare me - but I can scare them, that part is great fun, lol! I can be quite shy, so you have to go slow with me, but I come around with treats. Won’t you come for a visit and see how pretty I am? I will just sit here on my perch and wait for you to take me to my forever home! Please come soon!
UPDATE: Hi, it is Mia the OWA! Now that I have been with my Foster Mom and Dad for a few months I have gotten much better because they are so nice and patient. I am still a bit too shy to be touched, but we are working hard on that. I don’t mind my cage cleaned or touched, or my toys checked for any foreign material (poop). I like my Foster Dad best - we sit together on his chair (me on the back) and watch the news together (his favorite show), and he gives me blueberries. Every morning I whistle for my spray mist that I love so much. I would rather step up on a stick, unless I fall off my cage then I will step up on your hand, I am out of my cage all day unless my Foster Mom and Dad go out together. I would really like you to come visit me and see how beautiful I am! See you soon!
