My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ralphie is a happy-go-lucky 8 month old male pup that was rescued from the Riverside shelter. He entered the shelter system as a stray. Ralphie is a black tri color smooth coat with floppy ears and one blue eye. His personality can be best described as a typical BC pup, as he is very outgoing, playful, confident, and loving. He loves attention, adores being scratched on his back, and enjoys tummy rubs. Ralphie likes other dogs and has no fear of the older and bigger fosters in our program. Ralphie wants to please, so he should be easy to train. He has been around kids over 5, and except for being an over zealous puppy in him, he is fine with them.

Ralphie's adopters must be committed to work with the destruction and energy associated with raising a puppy, along with housebreaking accidents. His adopter is going to need to start at square one as he is probably not housebroken nor has he been obedience trained. However, he does walk decently on a leash, and loves to play tug.

He has been showered with TLC to socialize him. As with all puppies, socialization and puppy obedience classes are a must. This will ensure that you will have an outgoing, socialized, well behaved, and well adjusted adult dog in your family.
