My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello there. My name is Willow. What’s yours? It’s quite nice to meet you today. Like a willow tree that sways in the breeze, I too am strong and flexible. I look forward when someone comes in to meet me and doesn’t leave until I am theirs forever. I hope that day might be today and that you might be that someone. I am so deserving of a family and a home I hope you will give that to me.

I came to MaxFund as a young mommy with a brood of kittens, fresh off the streets. Talk about a hard life! I may look a bit scrawny, but I can hold my own just fine. During the time I was homeless I contracted FIV, but I won’t let that slow me down. Being FIV+ just means that I can’t live with other cats unless they are also FIV+. It also means I need a stable home and a family that will take good care of my health and wellness, but hey, all cats need that. I encourage you to learn more about FIV and you will see that it does not mean that I am not healthy and that I am likely to live a long a happy life with you. This also means that I am available for foster, if that is an option that you prefer.

I enjoy being around people and receiving pets and attention, but I have to say I am not a big fan of other cats. I would really thrive best if I were your only pet, but I may be able to get used to other animals, given time and patience. I like attention, but I am still getting used to people and I like to have my own personal space to ease into new situations. Do you think you might open your heart and your home to me? Gosh I hope so. Nothing would make me happier than joining your family and I hope that you will make my biggest wish come true and take me home with you!
