Horatio's Story...
Hola! I'm Horatio! I'm a dapper young fella whose estimated birthday is May, 2012. I was found lost as a stray in Green Bay, WI when I couldn't find my way back home one day. When no one came to find me, Happily Ever After took me in and said they would lend me a helping hand until I could find a new forever home! I'm a very kind guy who loves exploring and going on new adventures. I'm having a great time here at Petco because I get to go for walks around the store on a leash everyday! Even though it's all fun and games here, what I really would like more than anything is a new forever family to lavish me with lots of love and attention. If you're partial to handsome orange tabbies, then please stop by HEA's Adoption Station at Petco West to meet me soon! High fives, Horation **PS-You may recognize me as "AC907" on Packerland Veterinary Center's Green Bay Lost Pets website!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Horatio, a Green Bay Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Green Bay, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Green Bay.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Green Bay already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Green Bay breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Green Bay paves the way for another one to be saved.
