Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cooper's Rescue Story:
Imagine living so close to high power voltage lines that you can actually hear the humming sounds of electricity surging through cables. Now imagine being surrounded by a gutter of dirty water living day to day in the heat and having only this fowl body of water as a source of sustenance.
This is exactly what Cooper from the Compton area had to endure living everyday as dumped strays on a Socal Edison base. The area was gated and completely off limits to people for safety.
Here is what you should know about Cooper:
I am very lovable; my foster says I am an “Old Soul”. I look deep into your eyes and try to read your face. I am good at reading human emotions.
I run like a rabbit, bounding at full speed especially if it is to fetch a ball.
I love my walks. I notice everything on my walks, even humans and dogs on the other side of the street.
I love playing and I instigate playful romps with my dog mates. I am gentle with my little Chihuahua friend and we have a blast.
I eat well with 2 other dogs. I love to cuddle and I love nylabones!
I sleep well in my own bed but in the morning my favorite activity is to jump into your bed and say good morning to you when I see you are beginning to stir.
I also like to watch TV, yes, hard to believe but for certain nature programs I get glued to the TV.
I am looking for my chance to have my own home, own human and a dog mate. Can you give me a chance?
Cooper is one year old and about 10 lbs, we do require another friendly family dog in the household because Cooper has lived in a pack and never as a singular pet.
The adoption fee includes neuter, dental cleaning, heartworm test, fecal test, de-worming, microchip,& full vaccination.
