Brooks in Houston's Story...
This is Brooks! He just turned 7 years old on April 13th. He is a male, neutered, up to date on all shots, and microchipped. He weighs about 22lbs.

Brooks love to play ball! Anytime of day and he'll be up for a game of fetch with his ball, or even his frisbee! He loves to chew bones too! He is a complete snuggler like Brooklyn. Once you hope on the couch with a blanket, he wants to be under it with you! He is frightened of thunderstorms. Brooks gets along with all ages, but would probably just so best in a home with older children to decrease his anxiety. He does have some allergies that require he eat special food, but it can be purchased at Petsmart.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brooks in Houston, a Austin Jack Russell Terrier/Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/Rat Terrier for sale in Austin, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/Rat Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
