Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I'm Peanut the poodle! I'm only 2.5 years old and a bit on the thin side at 9 lbs. After a stressful transition from my former family that couldn't keep me and my sister any longer, I'm doing so much better and am happy again. I love to play and go for walks and rides, but I also love to curl up on my big pillow and take a nap. My buddy, Jelly, is my bdf (best doggie friend) so if you wanted to adopt us both, that would be so good, but if you only want me I'll definitely consider it.
I enjoy playing with other dogs and I've lived with cats so am good with that. I'd prefer not living with younger children who don't know how to treat small dogs like me, but I am fine with older kids who will be gentle and not tease me. I haven’t had any accidents so far in my foster home but they’re real good about getting me and Jelly out regularly.
I get a little scared when new people come over. The best way for me to get over this is to just ignore me and give me a little time to come to you. Throw me a toy and before long, we'll be playing like old pals. I’m pretty sure I’ll get over this once I settle into my forever home.
My adoption fee of $300 includes: vet exam, heart worm test (neg), distemper/bordetella/rabies vaccinations, flea control, microchip and neuter.
