Pearl's Story...
Pearl's favorite toy is jingle bells. She doesn't like really loud noises though, she takes cover till the coast is clear. She's a gentle, quiet kitten and actually might be appealing to someone isn't sure they want a KITTEN but sort of do! Does that make sense? She enjoys other animals but is really quite content by herself as well. She's a fuzzy little ball of purr and contentment. She's fostered in Huntsville, AL and if you'd like to meet her, please email info@FORrescue.net. You may also complete our application at http://forrescue.net/cat-application/
SPECIAL NOTE: ADOPTION FEES ARE REDUCED UNTIL JULY 31! All kittens are Felv/Fiv tested, spayed or neutered, microchipped, vaccinated for age appropriate, and examined by a vet. $50 if under 6 months of age.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pearl, a Huntsville Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
