Gilligan's Story...
Meet me Saturday 6/14 from 4:00-7:00 at Petco - 645 S. Green Valley Pkwy in Henderson!

Sweet Gilligan was born April 12th and came into rescue with his brother Gulliver at just over 2 weeks old. The pups were bottle fed until they are old enough to eat independently so they love to be held. Gilligan has a silly side too, just look at that smile! We didn't see Mom or Dad so our best guess on breeds would be Chihuahua, some type of terrier and probably a few other breeds too. Gilligan's adult size is estimated at 12 lbs. He has been neutered, microchipped and is current on vaccines, his adoption fee is $300. If you'd like to meet him please submit an application at www.waggingtailsrescue.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gilligan, a Henderson Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Henderson, or seeking a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy from a breeder in Henderson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Henderson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Henderson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Henderson paves the way for another one to be saved.
