Weight: 6 lbs
Good with dogs: Yes
Good with cats: Other (unknown)
Good with kids: Yes
Currently being fostered in: Charlotte, North Carolina
*BDRA will transport the dog a reasonable distance, to an approved adopter, at no extra cost, even if out of state.
Information:
Duke came from a local rural shelter and was the only one out of his litter to be born blind. He does not let that slow him down one bit, though! Everyone who meets him is surprised to hear that he is blind. I do think he can see some movement or shadows. He follows me and his four-legged foster siblings around very well. He LOVES playing in the yard, and he's not afraid of anything. He would do well with another dog that needs a playmate. He is crate-trained and we are working on pee pad training.
He is a very sweet and smart boy. I think he would make any family very happy!
