Dooley is always happy, happy, happy. He loves life and whatever the world brings to him. Oh, he loves it when mom and dad come home to take him for a walk or play with him. He will bounce through the yard chasing butterflies with glee or just lay in the grass with a big ol’ grin on his face. He is fabulous with other dogs and has never met one that he doesn’t like. Even the ones that really don’t want to play end up playing with Dooley. He just has that type of personality. We have not seen Dooley with children but he is very friendly and sweet and should do well with them. We think that he would love to have some kids to play with in the backyard. Dooley’s original family surrendered him when they came upon hard times and had to move to a rental that did not allow dogs his size. Dooley is crate-trained and housebroken and quiet, but needed more room than a tiny apartment could provide. If you think your family could be the forever family that Dooley is looking for please let us know. We would love to introduce you to him! The first step in our adoption process is the adoption application form which can be completed on line at www.cedarfarmrescue.com . After you have submitted the form call 336.251.8877 to make an appointment to visit. Dooley is 20 months old and weighs 57 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on his shots. He has tested negative for heartworms and is on monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas and ticks.
