My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you are looking for a loyal, light-hearted companion that will be grateful and excited about just about everything, then McGriddle (Mac) is
your guy. Mac is a happy, beautiful black 2-3 year old boy with soft silky long hair and big blocky head. He still has the puppy moves that
make you laugh when you interact with him. He is always ready for anything - playing, a walk, a ride or just sitting in the yard overlooking his
kingdom!. He has lived with other dogs and would do well in a home that has dogs, but not small dogs. He weighs 50 pounds but he is so light on his feet, seems like less.

Mac also enjoys staying right with his foster mom while she works on the computer during the day, so he does settle down nicely. He might enjoy
agility work to keep his mind and body active. He is a very loving dog who would do anything for his foster mom. He loves his people and when
encouraged to play with you, he will come up next to you when you are on the floor and he will slither down and roll on his belly for rubs!

Mac is not destructive in the house and is good with free roam in the house., but does get bored after awhile and would not do well with someone
gone most of the daytime.

Mac has had two weeks of board and train and knows many commands and is still working on more. Mac can walk well on a leash once bonded but he does have a high prey drive so you need to be on the lookout to direct him. He will need a home with no cats and children over 7.

The right person/s will need to use a firm but kind hand with him and show him who is alpha, but his foster mom has found that once he has bonded with you and knows you are master, he just wants to please you. If you are someone who will enjoy a loving, energetic companion, Mac may be the perfect companion.
