Arnie's Story...
Arnie is poodle mix that came into the shelter as a stray. When he first arrived it appeared he may have been injured but after getting a clean bill of health Arnie is ready to meet his new family. Arnie is an active boy would benefit from daily walks/hikes where he can get all his energy out. He loves his food! So much so that he doesn't like sharing it with anyone. Due to this we do recommend a family with no children. Arnie is very treat motivated is willing to learn anything for a treat. Arnie will go to his new home neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Arnie, a Mission Viejo Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Mission Viejo, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Mission Viejo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mission Viejo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mission Viejo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mission Viejo paves the way for another one to be saved.
