My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Summer may be a mixed breed, and just what that mix may be, is anybody's guess, but one thing's for sure, Summer is 100% adorable! This happy accident of nature is probably 9 to 10 months old and she recently weighed in at just 18 pounds. So, though Summer may have a bit more growing to do, she'll probably always fall in that size-gap, between small and medium for a dog.
Regardless of how big she gets though, Summer's personality is the perfect fit for almost any size family. This cheerful girl is friendly with everybody, including children, and she gets along well with other dogs, too. Summer is clever and highly alert, and she has loads of playful energy. Just throw a soft toy and she'll bring it right back for another toss. She also enjoys keeping in shape by taking walks on leash and romping with other small dogs. But when the fun-time is over, this affectionate girl enjoys having a chance to sit back, relax, and cuddle with her human companions.
This super-sweet and gentle pup is ready to bond with a caring, forever owner. So, if you're looking for a little Summer fun and a new best friend for life, then come meet this FABULOUS pup today. And be sure to tell us what breeds you think combined to produce this little caninine-cutie!
You can see Summer most days at the FOTA Adoption House, located at 8476 Highland Road. For more information, please text her foster family at (225) 892-0344. All dogs adopted through Friends of the Animals are current on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed or neutered prior to adoption.
