Meet Tiny Tim. He's fully vetted and approx 1 years old. He was abandoned at a vets office in a box and poor little guy has a diagnosis of Cerebellar hypoplasia. Basically he has poor balance when he walks and his movements may be jerky when he's stressed. HOWEVER he is in this terrific foster home with 2 cats and one of them  has the same disorder and it has subsided mildly because they are super calm and at peace to be in a safe situation. He is super friendly, so playful, loyal and loves other cats and all people. One floor housing a must - he can be seriously injured falling down stairs. Please email or call 917-974-6666 if you can be his hero…his forever hero!

About Second Chance Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a small, individual, private rescue group dedicated to giving unwanted dogs and cats a second chance. Most of the animals we rescue are strays and or owner surrenders to high kill city shelters. Many of them have been pulled off “death row”. We are very passionate about what we do, we love and care for these animals unconditionally. Our goal is to place our homeless rescues in permanent loving homes as their former owners have already abandoned them at least once before.

Adoption process includes adoption application, phone interview and home visit. Vet references are checked!

Come Meet Our Pets...

We do not have a physical shelter, we place our rescues in foster homes or boarding facilities where they are socialized and nurtured back to health before we place them in their forever home. If you are interested in adopting a friend, kindly look at our available pet on this site.

Our Adoption Process...

Adoption/Foster Application must be completed online via the link below.

Home visit is required along with Vet references. Our full list of fees have been listed on the adoption application. Our dogs come fully vetted and have to be spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
