My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sasha comes to BEAR after being humanely seized due to neglect. Sasha was found flea infested, very underweight, and had a horrid eye infection that was left untreated. To top that off this gal was living in a trashed-filled yard.
Since Sasha has come into rescue we brought her to an eye specialist and she was diagnosed with a condition called dry eye. This will require Sasha to be on an inexpensive eye drop for the remainder of her life. Now that Sasha is a BEAR Akita she has been cleaned has gained some much needed weight and is looking and feeling better.
After getting to know Sasha we feel she would do best in a home with a nice large male companion. This girl enjoys the companionship of another dog. She is well-trained on leash, housebroken and, well mannered. Sasha is the total package!
