Hi my name is Sugar! I’m have my sweet name because of my SUPER SWEET personality and because of how willing I am to love and trust people even after they’ve not been very kind to me.
You see, my first people up and moved away when I was very young. They just up and left me without food, water, shelter or anyone to care for me. Thankfully, I’m resourceful and I found a very nice neighbor that provided me with food for the next two years. The summers were hot and the winters were very cold while I was living in their back yard. I would see them gathered around and all I wanted was to come inside and show them that I still wanted to be loved. They really didn’t want a kitty cat, especially a kitty that wants to be pampered indoors. Since they hadn’t had a kitty, they didn’t even think about brushing me to help keep my beautiful coat well coifed. As a result I had HORRIBLE MATTS by the time my friends at Forgotten Angels Cat Rescue found me.
They whisked me off to the veterinarian for a check-up, shots and had the vet look at my very matted body. I had serious matts from head-to-toe and the vet said that I would need to be completely shaved and VERY CAREFULLY because the matts were pulling on my skin. I was such a good girl the entire two days that it took to shave off the auwful matts. NOW……….I’m BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!
My vet gave me a wonderful check-up and said that I’m in GREAT HEALTH and I’m ready for adoption.
I could be with one other nice kitty in my new home but I would certainly LOVE the idea of being and only child that could just be doted on.
