Zeke's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Zeke's Story...
Zeke was found as a stray and taken to a local animal shelter. They contacted us and asked us to take him and we did....we took him immediately to the vet where they found him to be in pretty rough shape. He was covered in fleas and was actually so anemic from them that he had to have a blood transfusion. Through all of this, Zeke has remained just the sweetest, most loving little guy! He loves to be held like a baby and will lay his head on your shoulder for as long as you will hold him! Zeke is about 2 years old and 10 pounds. He is great with kids and sleeps in the foster's son's bed. Zeke can be a "nervous pee'r" (just in the interest of "full disclosure"). He does fine unless he is startled.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zeke, a Hamburg Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Hamburg, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Hamburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hamburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hamburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hamburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
